Vision, Ethos & Values

Our Vision, Ethos & Values

Since 1871, our school has been known in the community as the ‘Feed My Lambs’ school. Inspired by this Gospel story, we use it as a model for the pastoral care of every child, nurturing them with kindness, compassion, and a sense of belonging.

Rooted in the Church of England, we are committed to preserving our spiritual character while respecting the beliefs of all faiths. We work closely with the parish of St. Peter's Church in Brackley and the wider diocesan community to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive and flourish.

Our Vision: “Life in all its fullness” (John 10:10) – education is about nurturing the whole child: academically, socially, emotionally, spiritually, culturally, pastorally, and morally.

Our Mission: “We are called to a full life, in body, mind, heart, and spirit; nurturing the whole child to thrive academically and spiritually within our Christian school.”

Spirituality: “We see spirituality as fuelling each child's inner spark, inspiring belief in something greater than ourselves.”

We are proud to have full-time pastoral and family support care in school, which plays a crucial part in helping us live and breathe our values each and every day through the following:

  • Caring – Recognising each child’s individual strengths and achievements.

  • Celebratory – Rejoicing in each child’s successes and milestones.

  • Courageous – Encouraging children and families to express feelings, try new strategies, and trust the loving support of our community.

  • Christ-Inspired – Guided by Jesus’ example of supporting and caring for everyone.

  • Community – Building strong, trusting relationships with families and external partners.

  • Rooted in Love – Every act of support is grounded in God’s love for each individual.

Together, our Vision, Mission, Spirituality, Values, and dedicated pastoral support reflect our commitment to helping every child flourish in body, mind, heart, and spirit - truly experiencing “Life in all its fullness.”
