Science Week in 6AJ:
6AJ have been up to some fantastic things during Science Week so far! We dissected a lamb's heart to learn more about the arteries, veins and capillaries, and how they help to transport blood (with the all-important oxygen!) around our body. We looked in-depth at each part of the heart's chamber, including the atriums, ventricles, valves and aorta. We also looked at all of our Year 6 Science topics and researched the different jobs associated with each one. Did you know there are hundreds of careers which use the same scientific knowledge that we have been learning this year? Check out some of the posters we made to show our understanding of the the different careers!
