Year 6 pupils have produced string art trees as part of our ‘Make Do and Mend’ for our WW2 topic. The children have worked extremely hard creating them and they have spent well over an hour making each one (hammering the nails in; creating the string pattern; and sticking on the pom poms). These will be available for sale at the school fayre on Thursday for £3.
We have already had some children wanting to make sure that they can buy their picture. If parents want to buy their child’s picture (the pictures are all numbered and the children should know what number they are), we are happy for them to send in the money and we will put the picture to one side for them.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
